Bed was comfy, heated floor in bathroom, you get a free welcome drink and a dinner when you arrive, the location is great, the rooftop bar was fun, the staff was extremely friendly and helpful- just cannot say enough! I double- booked a room and I didn't mean to- they refunded the money! I would definitely recommend the place and if ever in Manchester again- we know where we're staying! P/s- don't miss the downtown library- what a treat! Moose Coffee is pretty yummy too

The building was a treat just to walk through, the staff were as helpful as can be. The food was excellent and presentation was superb. I booked the day before checkin as had to leave an Airbnb close by as wasn’t available for the one night. Arrived early and was upgraded and received an early checkin. Reception staff were ultra helpful and obliging. Room was very clean and well laid out. Had the breakfast on day of checkout and this was good old fashioned greasy spoon stuff as was expected and I really like it. Creaky floorboards and one or two other things could make some to call the hotel dates but this added to the character of a Victorian era building. Great location, great staff, nice room and yummy breakfast - what’s not to like?

Excelent. The location, the ambiance, the staff . One real gem. All the little details were there. Outside was raining? The gentelman at the door offers you an umbrella. Our fridge was not working. They changed it at our first word. And the smile, oh, the smile of a staff that is proud of their hotel and their town. You feel really welcome.

Loved everything - so spacious and really feels luxurious. Booked two rooms, one with river views and the second for teenage son. Son’s room was upgraded at no extra cost, a lovely touch. Loved the walk in wardrobes in both rooms. Breakfast was superb.
