    Quite central and close to Perrace station

    It had no air conditioning and it was in the high 20s centigrade at night. Even though the hotel supplied a fan the heat was insufferable.

    "The hotel is within a few minutes' walk of Lyon Perrache station and ten minutes' walk from Old Lyon centre. If you wander to the main town squares in the evening by taking the riverside route from the hotel, you will pass two prisons and a few (non-threatening) streetwalkers. The route via the station is to be preferred. The tram and undergound service allowed us to explore most of the other sights of Lyon." (99478125)

    Small twin room, with clean modern furniture and excellent shower-room represented great value for money. The room was quiet.

    The beds were a bit hard for my fragile back!

    "A very clean and relaxing place to stay. Staff were very helpful without been too intrusive. Close to the Metro,Trains and Trams so no problem getting about Lyon. The Hotel is close to the prison (used by the Gestapo during the war) and 'Red Light Area' but don't let that put you off, we didn't have any problem with that, all large cities have them."     Very clean throughout.

    Tea and coffee making facilities in the room. I am over 6 foot in height so a longer bed would have ben more comfortable.
