"This is the first time I have ever booked accommodation online and I must say it has put me off a little. Unless next time it is somewhere that has been recommended by a friend or colleague. Depends on what people want/need as to whether I would recommend this hotel to anyone." (97852073)

The beds were extremely comfortable, due to memory foam matresses. I now want one.

No TV Lounge, No keys to main door, no alcohol - as stated on website. After 2.00am you had to ring the door bell until someone came to open the door. Front desk staff appeared to change on a daily basis, so they never knew whether you were actually staying there or just arrived. Our main complaint was at breakfast. For 32 rooms in the hotel there were only 26 seats at breakfast. You had to wait in reception until people had finished eating before you could go in for your breakfast. When you got to a table it was self service for juice and cereal, but boy did you have to be quick eating it as they served you straight away with your full irish breakfast and your toast. Obviously they wanted you out as quick as possible for the remainder of quests to get their breakfast before 10.00am. At exactly 10.00am that hotel staff then sat and ate their breakfast. No a very good start to the day, nothing worse then being rushed with your food - not good for the digestion.

"Room was clean which is important to us as a family. It was within a good distance to the centre of Dublin. The staff were not as friendly as they could have been. The breakfast was a good size to set you up for the day !" (97276516)

clean and within easy access to city centre

"We would definately stay at The Glen again, and recommend it to other travellers. It is ideally situated for the centre of the city and surrounding tourist spots, without the need for getting taxis." (97495940)

It was clean and adequate for our needs. Our room was at the back of the building and very quiet. The staff were very helpful & oblighing

My only moan would be that the room was a couple of flights up, and because of the weight of the cases it was a bit of a battle to climb the stairs;a very small negative point!

"There has been an extension to the old building. We stayed in the new apartments. I cannot comment on the old accommodation. We have few wants or needs. We just wanted somewhere clean and cheap and it was perfect." (97324916)

Very central location. Parking available in public car park at the bottom of the street, approx 300 metres, between the hours of 5pm and 10am the next day total cost only 5 euro.Room,en suite and bed, very clean. Good breakfast.

The room was quite small but the balcony compensated.

"Room was bearly big enough for the bed, no room for anything else. Tiles fell of bathroom wall when we opened door, no bin, no mirror in room, toilet seat was loose, no tissues. The filters to the kitchen need changing as the smell of rancid fat/oil was overpowering. The decor in the entrance area was dirty, shabby and tired looking. Staff were not friendly and made no attempt to interact. To top it all it was very expensive at 208 Euro for 2 nights! I will not be back." (97360208)
