    friendly staff, helpful and polite. Much improved now it is non smoking

    Unclean cutlery in breakfast area. Lift too small for a family of 6 - two trips to the top floor!

    "The Hotel was clean and staff friendly. It is situated close to some sights and within easy reach of all tourist sights in Paris via the metro which is only a 1 minute walk from the Hotel. There are also some reasonably priced restaurants and 2 supermarkets close by." (99363289)

    The Breakfast room is too small to accomodate the number of guests staying in the hotel, so there is a lot of waiting for free tables.

    Breakfast was very good. Location is very convenient for taking the metro. The area is perfect, very quiet.

    The room is pretty small, as is the bath room.

    Very clean, breafast is great - loads to choose from, staff are friendly

    No iron or coffee machine/kettle in the hotel room - but all available from reception.

    Good location, clean. Extra pillow found with no problems. Good breakfast for this type of hotel

    Room and bathroom small for a couple. We had no problems but others found nowhere to sit as breakfast room very small. Tea making facilities would have been a bonus.

    "This was our third visit to this hotel. So we know what to expect. The earlier visits our room seemed to be a bit bigger. It was just ok" (99851838)

    The location in the city; its nearby restaurants and metrostation. The well providing breakfast; helpfull and friendly managers. We appreciate the parkingfacility. The bed was comfortable.

    Unfortunately the towels and (plastic) glasses weren't refreshed daily. Not a big deal, the galsses were gently and promptly replaced. The walls are not very big, but the noise itself was produced by other unknown guests of course.

    The staff were friendly and helpfull, although at times like breakfast there were insufficient personnel.

    Rooms are small for a couple with little comfort. Breakfast was congested and meant at times waiting for a table. Insufficient staff on to deal with the residents. Room facilities very basic.

    "This hotel offers really good value for money, is very comfortable and clean and the staff extremely helpful. You will be disappointed if you expect spacious accomodation and extensive communal areas. It is possible to get room service but there is no bar or restaurant. The area is very quiet at night and within easy walking distance of the metro and local restaurants. It would have been helpful to know that the nearest metro station rue des boulets is closed so you need to get off at Nation or Charonne. We found Charonne to be the nearest to the hotel."     This hotel offered excellent value for money, was easy to find and the staff were really friendly and helpful. The accomodation although basic was very clean and functional, there was a fan in the room which was helpful as the weather was so hot.

    Nothing really, tea coffee making facilities would have been good and the satelite Tv didn't work on the english speaking channels but this didnopt detract from the overall experience.

    Good clean rooms with excellent shower facilities and comfortable beds

    No AC. Night temperatures in 30's made sleeping difficult with the sun directly in the room during the day hetaed up the room

    "This hotel was okay for the price. The breakfast was fair, but we had much fresher food for breakfast in our hotel in Haarlem, Netherlands. The room was fine. We needed a room for three, and it was big enough for three. The view was looking out through dormer windows at an angle toward the sky--half skylight/half window. It was a 5-10 minute walk to the metro. We weren't dissatisfied, but we would probably look for a hotel in a different part of the city on our next trip to Paris." (3304906432)

    "As first-time visitors to Paris we were concerned that the location of the hotel would not be in the best part of the city. On arrival, we were pleasantly surprised to find that the Nation area is not too busy and relatively quiet at night. That said, there is a fairly lenthy ride on the Metro to the 'sights' - the Eiffel Tower, Louvre etc, etc. Nevertheless the hotel is conveniently situated close to a Metro station and the Metro service is excellent(particularly if you have a 'tourist' pass)."     The staff were all pleasant and helpful, the breakfasts were good and the rooms were clean and comfortable.

    Warm room, window that opened easily, near the lift, it had a bath (not just a shower), comfortable double bed.

    Not enough storage/shelving; bathroom rather small; bed/linen smelt of tobacco.
