It was an elegant hotel, more than I expected, gracious.
The area in the evening is not very active/accessible, had to wait for 20min for a taxi at 8pm

rooms were of a high standard
Service was poor, especially in the restaurant. Bar closing at 11pm was a surprise

Modern stylish rooms with good facilities
Unable to open windows and noise from the above room due to plumbing discharge from shower or toilets??

"Overall happy with the quality of rooms and service was excellent as was the food. However, the bar should be open later at weekends." (99889836)
Slick, top quality room and hotel
Hotel bar closed too early and the area is very quiet at weekends but the latter point is not the hotel's fault. I think the bar could do better.

Nice small hotel
The impossibility to have our room available before 2 P.M after spending a night on the plane and arriving in London at 7A.M. A real nuisance!!

The design of the lobby and of the room. The little perks like any newspaper I wanted or the CD collection
the room view. The faucet was leaking and the A/C was loud. All in all it was too expansive for an ok room

"Excellent service coupled together with fabulous comfortable surroundings. Everything has been considered. The most enjoyable stay in a hotel of this kind ever. Will definitely be back." (3304298903)
First class accommodation. Some real thought has clearly gone into the furnishings. Excellent service by all.

Well furnished - good ambiance - excellent large bathroom
The safe mechanism is too complex - ours didn't work - four digit code better.

"1 thing - parking was a nightmare, it was made to sound a lot easier than it was and if i had known, we would have come up by train. Despite this, we thorougly enjoyed our stay, so much so, we are now going to re-decorate our place in the same style! (I should probably bill you for this as my girlfriend enjoyed it so much!) Thanks." (1912810)
very very very chic and trendy room/hotel.
honestly? a little over-priced.

"Very memoriable visit to London, hotel is top notch. I would suggest that background music be playes in the lounge area. It was very quiet, almost to the point of being uncomfortable." (1604941)
The accommodations were first class. The only problem we had was with the shower draining slowely. Since we arrived on Friday, the problem was not fixed until Monday.
At 11am during the second morning of our stay, we were eating our breakfast; sipping on our last cut of coffee, were asked to leave because breakfast was over and they needed to get the tables ready for lunch. This was on a Sunday, and given the fact that the hotel is located in the financial district and there was absolutely no one in the lobby or in the restaurant; besides us, we found it very rude.

"Hotel is right in the heart of London and was fairly expensive, as you would expect. However, the hotel was clean and smart, the room was comfortable and all the staff were very helpful and made you feel like nothing was too much trouble. It was very much a case of you get what you pay for, in which case it wasn't that expensive after all." (97154231)
Very clean room with good ameneties. Everything worked and TV in the bathroom was a nice touch.
No view to speak of but that was a minor point.
