"We needed an overnight hotel close to the airport and this one satisfied that need. It was easy to find, had a good restaurant and a very helpful staff. They allowed us to turn in our rental car at their desk which made the whole experience smooth and easy." (107251849)
I was ill during the night and the staff did everything they could to help. I really appreciated their care. Also this hotel is really close to the airport which is what we wanted and they were very great about getting us there quickly.
Uncomfortable cot for our third person.

"Good stay" (97747495)
Convenient to airport, relatively reasonable cost, good restaurant. Helpful staff.
Advertised free wireless internet access in common areas. In fact, only high cost wireless was available. One hotel computer (wired connection) was available for customer use. Booking cost included breakfast, but flight too early to take it in restaurant. Only option was room service continental breakfast - "free" but high service charge added.

"IT IS A MONEY MAKER BUT NO MONEY BEING SPENT IN THE RIGHT WAY A COMMON PROBLEM IN UK HOTELS. PAINTING AWAYS NEEDS TO BE LOOKING FRESH CARPETS IN WALKWAYS REPLACE OR REMOVE WITH HARD COVERINGS. THE LOCATION IS NOT IDEA. BUT YOU HAVE A GREAT STAFF JUST GIVE THEM A GREAT HOTEL. NEED TO ENTERTAIN OR INFORM YOUR GUESTS. YOU HAVE A LARGE SCREEN TV BUT THE SOUND IS TURNED DOWN SO POEPLE CAN SIT AND EAT AND DRINK FAIR ENOUGH, MOVE THE TV AND USE IT TO ADVERTISE YOUR HOTELS , EDINBURGH, SCOTLAND, WORK WITH THE TOURISED BOARD. BUT THE ROOMS ARE CLEAN AND FOOD GOOD." (97206614)
WAS CLEAN , STAFF BETTER THAN THE HOTEL BIT OF A MISS MATCH, SHUTTLE SERVICE TO AIRPORT GOOD, BREAKFAST VERY GOOD,
WAS VERY NOISEY, CLOSE TO AIRPORT RUNWAY, NEXT DOOR TO SCOTTISH KENNEL CLUB WHEN EVENTS ARE ON AGAIN NOISEY EARLY IN THE MORNING, STAFF UNDER A BIT OF PRESSURE AS THE HOTEL WAS FULL. LIKE MOST HOTEL PLYING THERE TRADE NEED CONSTANT DECROTIVE UPKEEP WORK AND THE CARPETS IN THE HALLWAY ARE WELL PASSED THERE BEST AND THIS IS THE FIRST THING YOUR COSTOMERS SEE. WORK NEEDS TO BE GRASPED AND ACTIONED AS SOON AS POSSIBLE OUR IT WILL PAY A PRICE.

"This hotel has an extremely convenient location for Edinburgh airport and Ingliston facilities. It was signposted and easy to find. The staff are extremely pleasnt and helpful. The room was extremely clean and very comfortable. Breakfast was cooked individually. The hotel was nicely decorated and has a pleasant atmosphere. Although our room overlooked both the airport runway and the carpark it was very well soundproofed and our sleep was not disturbed at all. I had an extremely good nights sleep and enjoyed my breakfast and room facilities. There were extra pillows and towels in the room ready to be used if needed. I can't find fault at all! Everything was good." (97559539)
I liked everything - I would certainly stay again.
There were no dislikes.

"It was no better or no worse than expected - its a transit hostel at best. Pleasant enough staff. Nice steak sandwich - (poor breakfast) Overpriced for what it is. I will shop around next visit." (97105715)
Adequate, reasonably clean (not 100%) comfortable. Good enough for an overnight - would not consider longer.
Rather bland room. Nasty plastic shower curtain & 'glasses'. Badly tuned television. Could very clearly hear the TV etc from nearby rooms.

"Booked a family room online which showed up as a double room on arrival at the hotel. Could have led to difficulties if this had been a busy time of year for holidays. Family rooms would benefit from two double beds instead of a sofa bed. Very good location for transfer to Edinburgh Airport. Room service breakfast was lovely prior to early flight. Leaving car in hotel car park with mini bus transfer to the airport was a great facility. Return pick up was swift and easily done. Staff were friendly and helpful. Would use this hotel again but would love to see an end to the sofa beds!" (97322089)
The hotel was ideally suited for Edinburgh Airport. The ability to leave the car in the hotel car park during our holiday was good. Room service breakfast was very good as we had an early morning flight.
Sleeping in the sofa bed was torture. Family rooms could have two double beds which would make the hotel experience much more enjoyable.

"Your restaurant staff lack the training in basic table service. For all they like to chat and tell there life stories to you they seem to miss the mark. Example;Entering the restaurant i had to wait as the waiter said they were very busy! Looking around i counted 8 tables no larger than 3 covers. Would hate to see them busy in my world!! While having dinner i ordered 3 bottles of beer, service of these were slow and on the first order was wrong. By the end of the meal i still had the empty 3 bottles on my table. The food was ok!" "Chose this hotel because of shuttle to hotel as we were arriving quite late at night. Then used the shuttle to return several times to the airport where we caught bus to center of Edinburgh. Bus runs about every ten minutes. Super convenient. Receptionist suggested a tour of the Scottish highlands as we only had two days in Edinburgh. That turned out to be a great idea and he was helpful in other ways too." (99123932)
Super convenient from airport. We were picked up after a phone call from the airport and in 5 minutes a van picked us up. Close to airport but no noise from planes at hotel.

"I was travelling on my own and I found my way to the airport easily but finding your holiday was a nightmare as the signage was very unclear. I had to ring the hotel twice in order to be directed in. On my arrival the barrier was down and over the phone it was not explained how I was to gain entry. The time of my arrival was 01.30 in the morning and as I was travelling alone I found the lack of infromation offered very off putting even dangerous. Basic produres were not explained. The next night I stayed with one of another chain further down the country and the difference in service was most marked. They were helpful and concerned dispite the lateness again of my arrival. I have stayed in Quality Inns before and choice this one because of it. I shall concerned very carefully next time whether to use this chain again." (97715701)
The accommodation was of the standard expected
the fact that I had to put the key card into a slot before any lighting would come on and this was not explained to me at the check in desk

"I hadn't realised that wireless internet access would add a further charge to our overnight stay, so we did not use this facility. As we were paying a fair amount to stay for one night, it would have been nice for this service to be included in the price. However, overall, we had a pleasant time at the hotel. At breakfast, my partner's egg was partly uncooked, but the rest of the breakfast was lovely and the service was very good." (97410665)
Clean hotel, friendly staff, good size room with clean en-suite facilities.
Difficult to find from main road, unclear directions from website. Had difficulties getting out of the car park - had to re-enter the hotel to ask for a pin number to leave the car-park, was given an incorrect code so had to ask again.

We wanted to spend a night near the airport having a flight early in the morning. Staff gave us good advice about returning the rental car the night before leaving. The hotel's shuttle took us back to the hotel and drove us the next morning early to the airport without any extra charge, being particularly kind and helpfull.

The Breakfast was excellent, and the table service not expected - so the food was fresh and hot (unlike the buffets so many hotels serve)
Unnerving to have no window in the room, but the aircon did not stifle, nor was it intrusive, so we probably had a better sleep - undisturbed. The TV from the next room could be heard.

cleanliness and comfort of room. ease of booking and price. the older member of staff was a breath of fresh air - so polite and helpful - and spoke Scottish!!!!
Cost of food and alcohol - you would sell more at a reasonable price - not cheap just reasonable. Too many foreign workers - poor English and rude.
